The Hijacking of Science - My take on this ....

Ok, who out there bought that hoax called Global Warming ??? C'mon, I know some of you bought it...I have a nice BPB, brown paper bag, for you and New Jersey Nets fans. All 12 of them. Ok, I'm joking about the Nets, and I'll even add their coach as another fan, bringing the total to 13..

Think about it for a moment. Some no-nonsense fields of science, with all their modern technologies, think that mankind can influence global temperatures by throwing money upon their theories. This is not scientific and these are not scientific methods...Some may have heard of the hijacking of a religion, or the hijacking of a political party....What about the hijacking of science ?

Like a drug-maker who invents the disease where he only has the cure, or the new religion that says that they have a newer truer way, these scientists say give me more money to save the world from our chosen drug or religion...

How many of us remember the movie "Bruce Almighty" ?? Jim Carrey gets to substitute for Morgan Freeman for a while..There are two very good scenes that many may have not noticed...One where Jim moves the Sun and another where Jim moves the Moon. Even though this may have been impressive to his girl, the rest of the world was thrown out-of-balance, so many froze or were flooded...Mankind does not have the power to move the heavens so mankind can not influence the heavens affects on the Earth. So since we can't move the Sun one iota, we can not make the Earth warmer or cooler...We can only the change the local, never the global and absolutely not the heavenly....So let's do the best we can with what we have...Give us the strength to change what we can change and the wisdom to know what we can not change...

Sure, you can look up some "facts" about Global Warming...Just Google it !! They'll say things like, the planets temperature has increased an average of 1 degree for the last 100 years...(I heard about a global cooling group around the 60's).. The cause of the increase in global climate change is Human activity, producing pollution and greenhouse gasses...(I think global climate changes naturally since the Earth is moving, the Sun is moving, the Moon is moving)...Methane from the ocean being released into the air...Deforestation : 53,000 square miles per year....

What can you do to slow Global Warming ??? Lowering your thermostat, taking showers instead of baths, energy efficient appliances ?? What a laugh...How is this supposed to move the Sun, the Moon, yet even the Earth ??

So you see why I say this is a hijacking of science ??? It is trying to intellectually or rhetorically solve what is celestially and terrestrially out-of-our hands...It is claiming to know what to do about the undoable...At the same time , discouraging opposing views, in the name of science...

I do not know about you, but I'm pretty cold over here....
